We recognise that, as well as being rewarding, your career can be very demanding.
To provide Employee Support
Jobs that have a high level of responsibility or a requirement to work within challenging environments usually attract those who give their time generously and often your own needs do not take priority. Sustaining this and meeting both internal and external expectations can at times become difficult, resulting in increased stress, reduced performance, and a decline in wellbeing and job satisfaction. When this happens, it is no surprise that many exit early or take leave from their profession.
We can work with employers within the health, public, and third sectors to help you create supportive environments that provides employees with the tools to build resilience, emotional intelligence and morale; attributes closely linked to achieving high standards of performance and job satisfaction.

“The ongoing and timely support I receive is invaluable. I’ve become much more self aware and can now use strategies to reduce the stress and anxiety I experience at work and in my personal life. I manage difficult situations more effectively and my performance keeps improving. I look to the future more positively in relation to how I can develop my role within a challenging and evolving service which will benefit the people I work with and the service overall. More than that – I’m happier too!!”
– Jade – Case Manager, Northamptonshire 2016

Occupational therapy (OT) is a health and social care profession, regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Occupational therapy takes a “whole-person approach” to both mental, physical health and wellbeing and enables individuals to achieve their full potential (Royal College of Occupational Therapists 2017).
